I am in a program called Influenster.  I signed up, completed all my surveys, and now I have gotten my very first VoxBox free for testing purposes from Influenster.

I was uber ridiculously excited to see that little orange box nestled in with my mail.

I received an email with a survey to see if I qualified for this particular VoxBox. Shortly after the deadline to complete that survey I received an email saying that I had been selected to receive this box. It is one of their largest yet and it was shipped out many people. I receive all of this free stuff for testing so that I may share my opinions with you. This is the stuff that came in my box that I tried out.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration

I received a 2 oz sample of Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration. It is an after sun hydrating lotion. I tried it after I mowed the lawn and it really helped with my mild sunburn.

I was a little pink in color but I really didn't feel sunburned. I like that it doesn't feel greasy. It smells lightly like coconut and has other tropical tones. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration leaves the hands a little sticky because of the aloe so I do not recommend it as a hand lotion.

It works great as a substitution to aloe gel because it is no where near as sticky as that stuff and it is still soothing. That stickiness does go away though after the product completely dries and soaks in. Leaving nothing but silky smooth skin behind. I will be definitely be picking up a full size of this one soon.

First Aid Shot Therapy

These remind me of the little energy shots that other companies make but way more useful. They contain NSAID pain reliever and caffeine to put an end to your pain so that you can get on with your day. I haven't taken mine yet but I know it is going to come in handy here in just a couple weeks. I don't know how they taste yet, hopefully it isn't too bad.

Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish Enamel, Ocean Side #962

I also got this whole bottle Sinful Colors nail polish free for testing. I have already a fan of the Sinful Colors Brand and I was pleased with the color included in my box.

It is called Ocean Side and I love it. It's like denim with a touch of turquoise. For my manicure, I painted my nails with two coats of this color. I then let it set overnight. After it was completely dry, the next morning I used two coats of clear gel polish that has to be cured with a UV light.

My nails don't ussually keep polish on them for long but when I use the gel after my nails are completely dry and set, my manicure is extended WAY longer. You wouldn't believe that this is only a $2.00 bottle of nail polish after you take those steps.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturing Shampoo Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturing Conditioner

In my VoxBox there was also Not your Mother's Beach Babe Shampoo and Conditioner. It is the texturizing variety and I definitely noticed a difference in volume to my hair. It typically sits very flat. It is straight and medium length. If I want volume, it takes work. This stuff definitely helped bring life to my limp hair. I even noticed a difference after I slept on my hair all night.
